Your Excellency,

I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of

and to thank you for your letter of the 29th October relative

to the services performed by H.M.Ships "Cadmus", "Janus" and "Handy" in endeavouring to assist the disabled junks after the

font typhoon.

2. In this connection I forward for your

information Commander Heard's report of the proceedings of the

three ships between the 27th & 29th October (Track Chart also

enclosed).
